Mikayla works at Two Small Fish Ventures, an early-stage deep tech VC with the thesis of investing in the frontier of computing and its applications. In her role, Mikayla supports all levels of the investment pipeline from deal sourcing, deep technical due diligence, to aiding in deal structuring. Mikayla started her career as a backend software engineer with TD Bank and later on the capital markets side with TD Securities. She designed, built and deployed patented in-house systems supporting Electronic Fixed Income and Global Equity Derivatives.
Mikayla earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration in Technology Leadership (Tech MBA) from the Schulich School of Business at York University and holds two undergraduate degrees in Economics and Computer Science at Queen’s University.
