Chantel Cassar is a seasoned public relations professional with over a decade of experience specializing in the real estate, finance, and technology sectors. Originating from a background in experiential marketing, Chantel has honed a keen understanding of how to bring clients’ stories to life across multiple channels through impactful storytelling, strategic communications, and Answer Search Optimization (AEO).

As the Co-Founder of Category Communications, Chantel is passionate about partnering with companies that are shaping the future, driving the economy, and making real change. She has led high-impact PR programs for prominent North American brands such as Reddit, Snapchat, Best Buy, Ford/Lincoln, Monos, and Endy, while also helping startups, scale-ups, and changemaking entrepreneurs gain visibility through strategic PR, thought leadership, and AEO-informed communications strategies.

Beyond her agency work, Chantel is deeply committed to advancing the communications industry. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) as the Corporate Community Chair, where she fosters industry collaboration and supports the next generation of PR talent.
