Tolu Alebiosu is a technologist, founder, and researcher working at the intersection of AI, sustainability, and social impact. He is the Founding Partner and CEO of Wamiri, where the team is building ALK — an AI-powered platform that automates document-heavy workflows for financial services institutions. Wamiri currently works with organizations across pension, insurance, banking and private equity to streamline processes like benefit applications, claims and credit reviews.

Tolu works at the intersection of AI governance, safety, and sustainability. He has a Master’s in AI Ethics and Society from the University of Cambridge, where his work has explored AI interpretability, environmental ethics, governance, and sovereignty.

Previously, Tolu served as the Founding Product Lead at Fyyne (Techstars 2023), a beauty-tech startup later acquired by Bumpa. Before that, he worked at BMO Financial Group in Strategic Initiatives and Change Management, where he drove customer experience improvements and helped launch digital products.

Tolu holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from the University of Toronto, where he received the Emerging AI & Technology Award from the Institute for Management and Innovation for his work with Wamiri and the innovative use of AI in democratizing knowledge access. He also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminology from U of T, where he received the Dream Chaser Change Maker (DCCM) Outstanding Student Entrepreneurship Award.
