Nickie Shobeiry is a national-award-winning journalist and documentary filmmaker, and the founder of boutique PR agency, Big Good Studios.
As a journalist, she covers business and tech for outlets like The Globe and Mail, and arts and culture for CBC. As a PR professional, Nickie’s clients span tech, healthcare, defence and more; she’s also a public speaker, bringing her storytelling chops to stages and screens across North America.
Nickie has written and directed acclaimed documentaries for Bell and CBC, and is a fellow of the Netflix-Banff Diversity of Voices program. Her most recent CBC Creator Network short doc, ‘Good Nose’ – an RTDNA broadcast journalism award winner – features subjects including Samin Nosrat, NYT best-selling author and creator of Netflix’s ‘Salt Fat Acid Heat’. Nickie’s upcoming Bell Fibe TV1 music docu-series features collaborators from Red Bull Canada, Drake’s label OVO Sound, and Live Nation Middle East.
