Parnian Majd is the Founder and CEO of Fibra, a Toronto-based women’s health technology company building the missing data layer for women’s health, capturing continuous, direct signals from the reproductive system through smart underwear and turning them into personalized, predictive insights. From cycle and fertility tracking (today) to postpartum transitions, hormonal changes, menopause, and more across all life stages with the same product (future).

Powered by patented smart-textile technology embedded into daily life, Fibra captures real-time reproductive data without behaviour change—unlocking a proprietary dataset at scale and positioning the company as the system of record for women’s health.

With nearly a decade of experience in biomedical engineering, biosensors, and wearable systems, Parnian’s work sits at the intersection of technology, data, and women’s health. She has led the development of Fibra’s patented smart textile platform to address one of the largest gaps in healthcare: the lack of continuous, real-world data on women’s reproductive health. Her broader work focuses on shifting women’s health from reactive care to proactive, personalized insight—empowering women to better understand, anticipate, and manage their bodies.

Parnian holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
She is an award-winning founder, recognized with the EY Woman in Tech Award, the Women Empowerment Award for Innovation, and named among the 20 Under 40 in Life Sciences. Her work has been featured by national and international media including CBC and Swissinfo, and she is a frequent speaker and advocate for advancing women’s health, closing the gender data gap, and building the future of femtech.
